Rhetorical Act Chapter 6

Chapter 6 talked about the key factor of organization as a whole. Organization in a speech is crucial because it allows to audience to follow along chronologically and helps the speaker not sound like he is on drugs. Organizational patterns are important since they are a sort of template to follow, so the structure of an argument can be strong. This reminded me of English 9 in high school when my teacher told us each body paragraph should be started with the topic sentence, followed by concrete detail, and 2 areas of strong commentary on said concrete detail. This pattern helped me put solid content in my work and led me to become a better writer.
