Rhetorical Act Chapter 8

This chapter was about audiences and the four different types there are. First is the empirical audience, and this is the audience that has the possibility of making a change after witnessing the rhetorical act. Next is the target audience, which is the group of people the speaker was trying to influence with the act. Third are the agents of change, and they are the ones that have the means within them to make a change after being given the information in the act. And lastly, the created audience is the group the speaker wanted to have a positive affect on.
