Rhetorical Act Chapter 11

Chapter 11 is about evaluating other people's rhetorical acts and what to look for to determine if they carried out a good performance or not. The things to look for are the artistic standard, the response standard, the accuracy standard, and the moral standard. The artistic standard is the entertainment aspect of an act. If it was interesting and kept the audience's attention, it is seen as a successful. The response standard is based on how well the act resonates with the audience's beliefs. The accuracy standard is solely about if what the speaker is saying is true and if the sources used are credible. Lastly, the moral standard is basically how the act sits with the listeners after being delivered.
