Rhetorical Act Chapter 12

This chapter talks about visuals and how they can improve an act that is just words. Visuals sort of build upon the base of what is being said because they can help make the point clearer. Sometimes they can be better at showing a point than speaking, especially for kids since most of them are visual learners. The author brings up the fact that visuals are eroding the importance of reading and writing because many are straying away from the basic forms of communication and moving into a new era of doing things. This is the flip side to positivity of images, but nevertheless, visuals work.
